Thanks. This is exactly the sort of advice I was hoping for. I was actually already onsidering doing something like that to hedge my bets. Say putting $500-1000 in BTC now even though we're high and then if we have a prolonged drop I can use to to accumulate more - I suppose my only concern with that is how much of my investing budget should be allocated for the first buy in and howo much should be kept in reserve.
Also, since I'm just looing to buy BTC with fiat and then immediately withdraw everything to my cold wallet (no exchanges for me!), which on-ramp would you recommend?

Oh don't worry I wasn't. Based on the nonsense I've seen on here since I started lurking I'm convinced that whatever the hell LINK is, absolutely any decision I would make on it would be the wrong one. So I'm staying the fuck away entirely.
