Now from the payment system valuation I am inclined to compare it with either bitcoin as a payment system or the USD as a payment system. The USD is the basis of the US economy where you have transactions per year that total about 20.5 trilion USD, meanwhile the M2 money stock stands at 18.4 trillion USD. Almost a 1-to-1 ratio. On the bitcoin network however the total amount of transactions made per day average 11.5 Billion dollar. On a yearly basis that is 4.2 trillion dollars in transactions, almost 20 times the market cap of Bitcoin. This metric is thus called the velocity of money. 1.1 for the M2 stock of the US (historical average 1.6) (see: https://fred.stlouisfed.org/series/M2V#)) and 19.5 for Bitcoin (historical average about 40) (see: https://charts.bitcoin.com/btc/chart/velocity#5ma4).). Now because most of bitcoin transactions is just sending it to and from exchanges etc without really transacting it for a service or product it is my conviction that the payments made on the lition network which will be on a yearly basis about 1000 euro per household is more akin to the pattern of the US dollar than that of bitcoin when it comes to a relationship between valuations and transactions. Thus if they get to 100k customers, they'll have 100 million being transacted for energie in a given year and that should thus roughly be the mcap valuation given to lition as a payment system. So $1 per 100k customers. Perhaps a little bit less, but I'd be surprised if these transactions were deemed as valueable as ordinary bitcoin transactions where people just shuffle coins between their wallets. At 500k customers you could see a valuation of $5 only from the payment system angle.
