I recently just fucking gave up and moved into an apartment that costs 50% of my salary to rent.
I want to enjoy life instead of hoping that maybe one day the compound interest on my savings will allow me to buy a house and live off the interest. The apartment is so fucking nice and it makes me happy every day.
Dunno man, do what you want, but I recommend you at least keep saving something. Like 10%. It'll add up.

I’m kind of in a pickle actually because I’ve cashed out over £60,000 worth of trading gains over the last three years and paid zero tax on any of it not sure if I can get out of here and cash out in Portugal without these unpaid capital gains coming back to fuck me over
