I inadvertently did an experiment with this bar. I forgot about it and left it in a box under my bed for 3 years, sitting halfway outside of this bag. What's perplexing to me is that the bag isn't even remotely tight around the bar; there is a gap big enough to fit 3 fingers in, but despite that, there is not even a hint of tarnish on the part that was loosely covered.
