I agree automation is the future but our hamfisted technology in robotics has a long way to go, we won't see anything capable of being trusted to replace humans for another 50 years. There's no way a robot like this has the speed and dexterity and precision to build your house or cook you a traditional french meal or perform surgery or complete intricte tasks which involve human hands, or creativity. We may see automation reduce current jobs by 5-10% at absolute most over the next decade or two.
