I think only when it contains chloride e.g. PVC. Acrylic (C3H3N)n or polystyrene (C8H8)n in theory should be safe if they didn’t add any additives, if it breaks down C, H or N don’t really react with silver (Ag) or gold (Au)

These coins are from their neighbours, Switzerland. I think one of the last places in Europe that still has silver in their currency and still is in circulation. I hate the damn Euro so much, it took away our ability to stack silver just by saving coins
