I've had 2 companies send me mail for owning stocks - 1 bank and 1 nat gas company. I'm not really sure why I got physical mail from them and none of the other companies I have held, pretty sure both pieces of mail were for tax season, but they weren't the only stocks I was holding at the time or that year so I'm not sure why they sent physical mail while the others didn't.
