First you're gonna need ETH, if you're an American you have to set up a coinbase and that takes a couple of days to confirm, then you use your bank account to buy ETH, then depending on how much Coinbase likes you they restrict how much ETH you can send to your own wallet, could be three days or 6 or instant, I don't know the value cutoffs.
