And yeah pool sharks do go looking for weaker opponents to play and get money off of but I have faced some of the best in the country and even in the world in some of these tournaments and the friends I shoot with are super competitive players as well and we often times gamble each other and go looking for tournaments to make money off of so I always feel confident when someone comes up asking me to gamble. So far for 2024 I'm up over 3,300 in cash from gambling. Last year I made 10k off of this hobby (I have a job that I make a real living off of) but I'm still learning to get better. I love it because it's like hard flex for a pool player to throw out his money clip from gambling on top of tournament money for the picture of the winner to show to everyone else yeah I'm that good. Me and my buddies love doing that shit and competing with each other who finishes up with the most at the end of year. Sadly my wad of cash doesn't come close to some of my friends who are pros and semi pros but fuck is the grind ridiculous.
