We had a guy like that at my place once, after we sacked him he wrote all about how he was imperative to the success of the project (before it was even released) and "upskilled the database team" etc, when he couldn't even draw a fucking ERD properly.

He doesn't just list achievements, he boasts, like Craig. If you've actually worked enough in industry you'd know those people might as well just have "useless wanker" stamped on their head.

They're given positions like "MVP" to make themselves feel important and go around boasting about YOUR products, while still keeping them at arms length, so you don't actually have to hire them.
