Has any of you ever gotten their funds stolen even when properly using a hardware wallet?

I have never put my recovery seed into any electronic device and kept it away from open windows if I needed to take a look.
I have entrusted the steel backup to my dad whom I trust with my life (I feel it's safer where he lives and it's better to keep the wallet and the seed in separate locations). I want to keep a backup so my family can inherit it if I'm gone.

Still, fear lurks within me that somehow someone could have intercepted the seed in a way I expect the least and that they might be planning to extract my funds at a future occasion. It literally doesn't let me sleep.

How do I chill the fuck out?
