Me personally, when I started I was an MU-fag with a side bet of 30% into oil and gas to figure out how the commodities markets work in conjunction with the stock market, learned that they're primarily longer holds that peak and fall in the summertime, wintertime, along with EPA whining (especially with IFA regulations concerning sulfur, heavy versus light oils coming 2020) to come. Now I invest in a sand company that makes very nice sand, and it's a key contributor in the production of domestic (U.S.) sweet oil, something that's price will be realized extremely soon.

Besides that, tech is medium to light volatility where bio-pharma is fucking insane. The week to come will be your chance to make or break, but you have very little time to do research my friend.

I'll give you what that book-guy posted but I'm not touching this shit. I might dip a few hundreds into each of the "good" picks, but you might have more fun going all in, putting a stop-loss and hoping you go 20% in a day.
