There was a timeline we never went down. A timeline where crypto was filled with good-hearted cypherpunk idealists building awesome shit, and Chainlink came through and steamrolled them with its huge corporate solution. That would have been a bittersweet experience. Making it from Chainlink but seeing them destroy all of these cool open source projects in the process, as the legitimacy train rolled through town.
But that never happened. Crypto is a cesspool. From the rugjeets at the bottom to the MEV mafia at the top. In more than 10 years, I can count on one hand the number of projects that are actually good and have heart.
So there's no bittersweetness to it a tall. Steamroll them, Sergey. Bring through a new wave of Web2 connected corporate products that scatter them to the wind. Crypto had its chance and, through the age old lure of greed, they squandered it. They all squandered it. Fuck them.

Me too, bro, I share your optimism and good vibes. My only disappointment was not screenshotting when I had 69 LINK rewards, but that's a minor gripe in the grand scheme of things.
Have a nice day!

Chastity is a virtue and forbearance is a characteristic of a pure soul.
This is a very strange fud angle to take, that compliments us as it tries to rile us up

Sometimes they will give young school children an egg, and ask them to take it home and care for it. It's a test of the child's ability to take responsibility, to protect and care for something valuable and fragile.
I got my egg in 2017. I've been holding it since then, through dizzying ups and catastrophic downs, through casual insults and large organised attempts to break me, and make me lose control of it.
In 10 hours I hand my egg back to its home, where it belongs, where someone else can care for it, and where it will hatch. My egg is intact.
I made it.
