I see it as an inevitability. This virus is permanent. Will never go away. Just like the Influenza virus. When they make a vaccine for it, the strain of the virus would likely change...especially for a virus like this which bounces around the animal kingdom like a ping pong ball. Therefore a vaccine isn't to save us completely (see pic).

The only reasonable strategy to handle this virus is a defensive standpoint. Vitamin D, Zinc, working out, getting sleep. Improving the immune system, naturally. There. Just saved thousands of lives and trillions of dollars. Those who die, were going to die anyways. Likely were 1 fart away from death to begin with.
