Wealth is being consolidated to the upper classes/those who hold assets outside of their wagie wage.

Like the majority of the reason, there is a class divide is because poor often do not get any type of asset outside of their salary income (in USD, that's an unavoidable issue, inflation/wage stagnation) & the fact they don't invest (note I don't say save) It doesn't help that most people are actually subsidized by the Government majorly cus they are so worthless to the real economy (wagie jobs).

They literally hold depreciating trash, and wages which aren't matching the inflation in asset prices.

401k is usually all they have.

I've only benefited from the crisis since I'm heavily in inflationary positive assets. My job isn't a wagie I run my own business online, so once again benefited.

Big business making more money cus small businesses dying.
That was the entire point, and personally, I look forward to that. More money for me!
