I have about half a million in S&P 500 index funds, if the stock market goes up by 50% I will only be 250k richer.

If someone has 5 million in the S&P 500 then they would be 2.5 million richer

If someone has 0 invested then they will be $0 richer

If I launch a "Westworld" cryptocurrency do you think enough people would be interested to use it as a crowdfunding mechanism to create a real Westworld? It wouldn't be that expensive being that cryptos can easily reach a market cap of $1 billion+, we just need 500 acres of terrible cheap desert land in arizona, with a bunch of shoddy wooden buildings like in The West, and about 100 actors each paid $30,000 per year to live out a dream and live on site. that's only like $15,000,000 at most for startup costs to operate for the entire first year.
