i appreciate it anon. been beating myself a bit over not standing up for myself more. i so badly just want to be stronger in these situations, but my mental makes me overthink and overstrategize these situations (i also get caught off guard), it can especially be difficult at work where there are power dynamics. im also getting paid a decent amount so it just complicates things further. ultimately i think there's a way to stand up for myself and be a strong contributor that keeps his job. good to know i'm not the only one that thinks everyone is fucking lame (kek though im guessing this whole board is probably in agreement with that).

I would probably quit my job around 2m and a purchased home. I'd hopefully spend my days focusing on music. I already spend a lot of time on it. Though to be honest, I will need to find other outlets to make myself busy since music can only take up so much time, unless things do take off.

I've been using new DD on WSB to find new stock picks for a couple years. Yeah yeah, go back or whatever. I'm done there and trying to find a few long term holds. Spread 100k across 5 stocks after my last play because I don't like cash sitting around. I'm about to dump most everything, load up a little more MVIS and SOXL. I've still got about 30k to fuck around with after that. I want to play something 6 months / leapish. I'm thinking something that got held under by covid. Travel agencies are high on my list, but only boomers use those. AirBNB is a mem and I don't fuck with that. Plus boomers don't use it. Where is that sweet spot? I used to live in the fuckin' tundra. Spring fever would hit hard and anything outdoors had a huge draw as soon as 15 degrees F hit.

I'm almost thinking Comcast Corporation. I worked at an event center through most of high school and college. It got bought out by Comcast because the city (who owned it) wasn't cutting it. They cut out the entire management team on false pretenses. I never went back because of that. Good, hard working, stern but fair, people lost their jobs. So what. Maybe my boss liked to keep a fat lipper in all day and fuck an employee under the bleachers. He was a good hard working man who would rip on anyone who wasn't black or a women. He'd instead talk shit about them and his own son in private with me behind their backs. I'm bearish on Comcast for firing this hard working American and many others. I am however, bullish on them being a hidden gem. When people think Copmcast, they think shitty TV cable and internet. They are more than that and I've come to that conclusion while typing. I'm going to recklessly make a 30k CMCSA leap tomorrow. I'll be shilling DD in the coming days if I ultimately think this is a good idea. Obviously I have to convince myself that Comcast has a good business model to begin with. Beyond that I have to come to the conclusion that concerts and events were / will be a big part of that.
