Look at TSLA for example. You get a baseline cross on May 5, buy just before closing, say 170.06.
You have $5000 in your account, you can only risk losing 2% of that, or $100. It had 7.50 ATR on that date, which means your take profit at 177.88, and cut losses at 158.33. You need to buy 8.90 shares of TSLA (say 9) to have the optimal risk for this trade; this would cost you $1513.
The trade worked out in our favor - it's currently up 18.3%. We would have sold half at our TP of 177.88. So we would have realized approx $31.28 profit, with another $155.50 unrealized (and a current SL set to like 193.34)
