which says that they are in the process of having an outside audit done by an apparently pretty well-respected auditor (Certikorg?) specializing in DeFi contracts, so that is at least one point in their favor. The fact that they are voluntarily getting audited puts them ahead of, say, Bitfinex and Tether (pic related).

Personally I am more inclined to trust Flare Finance than a random ERC20 food token. The dev team is anonymous right now but known to Flare and Ripple, they said.
