As far as the next steps for Chainlink, what should investors be paying attention to? Obviously seeing more projects/apps selecting Chainlink is one KPI. Someone like Docusign or other trusted enterprise companies running a node, too.

(1) What do you think the coming 6 months will look like and (2) what would be big negative indicators for Chainlink making it?

It was within the last year or so, yes. I'll try to find the source again and make a thread, but yeah, that's what the US government said. They were obviously looking at the bigger picture of the ecosystem that would develop around decentralized techs, blockchain, dtl, etc. Big picture

Hey anon, don't panic. You have the clues. And you have the BTC. The BTC is there - it's safe & sound.

Step one is to calm your mind and relax. You WILL recover the BTC. It's just a matter of remembering. Here's how to remember:

Every night before you go to sleep, look at the clues. Visualize where you were when you wrote it, write down what was going on in your life at that time, write down what was important to you (main areas of your thoughts & attention), who were your friends, what were the 3 or 4 most important things that happened that year? Write all this down on paper - you're creating a map, and when you look at the map, your unconscious will start floating old patterns back up to consciousness, patterns of mind you had at the time you wrote down the clues.

When you wake up each morning, revisit the bible - the same bible you were using at the time. Revisit the verses and the chapters that have been meaningful to you. Can you list them all on paper? Psalms? Proverbs? Peter? Paul?

Find an important ":"

Not sure about TBM but could be instructions to yourself to do the thing implied by "A724". A724 could mean 'find the first letter a, then count 7 letters, then 2, then 4... that kind of thing. TBM could also be a movie, person, book, event, process... some kind of noun.

Just keep reading the bible basically & calming the mind to bring the unconscious mind to the surface of consciousness. You'll eventually recover the BTC and in the process may become enlightened.

Worst case scenario? You end up selling the wallet 10 years from now to a company that will crack the pw and take a cut. Good deal either way. Just protect the wallet at all costs.

Been looking at LINK a bit earlier in 2018 but was a fool and didn't pay enough attention. I've been accumulating a suicide stack since April 2019. Hoping to God prices stay low for a little while longer.

Minimum goal = cash out after Mainnet + Partnership and ensuing speculative rush.

Maximum goal = stay the course and stake LINK eternally.

I ask God for wisdom navigating the days coming.

Here you go.

1. Set up a Coinbase.com account. Verify your identity, link your bank account, and transfer $100 to your "USD Wallet" that Coinbase provides you.

2. Next, earn a "free" $50 worth of XLM and some other popular cryptos by watching the educational videos at coinbase.com/earn. They will give you free crypto to learn about the crypto, similar to how Paypal paid users $25 in the early days to sign on. The videos total about 30 minutes. Do this, learn a bit, and earn free crypto. That crypto will go to different wallets, one for each crypto. Now you have multiple wallets and can see/feel how that works.

3. Sign up with Binance or another exchange. Do the same steps you did with Coinbase to follow through and set up your account fully.

4. Choose one of your cryptos (you'll have 4 or 5 if you've reached this step), and transfer some of it to the exchange.

5. Now choose a crypto you want to buy from the exchange and buy it. You want to purchase your crypto on exchanges because the fees are vastly smaller. Don't buy crypto directly from Coinbase except for your first batch. The exchanges are cheaper and you can buy at lower than market prices.

That will get you started. You will learn how to move USD, buy Crypto, store in a basic wallet provided by the platform your purchase on, and learn how to move crypto from one wallet to another.

6. If you want to play it "safe", put more money into BTC than anything (Don't buy BCH). Put next most into ETH (Don't buy ETC). These are widely considered the core of the blockchain/cryptocurrency world and they are not "going away", unless electricity ceases to exist.

7. From there on out, everything else gets into "needing to know something about the technology or marketplace" territory before you put money in. With $30k, "making it" means putting a substantial amount in BTC and waiting a long time, maybe a decade.

8. Best bet? Buy 1 BTC and hold... never, ever sell. Ever.

Hello /biz/,

Currently sitting on 5k LINK. I am considering taking out a loan for $15,000 and buying LINK. Please talk me out of it.

In my mind, worst case scenario is LINK does not get adoption, goes to 0, and I'm left servicing ~$500/month. Not a huge deal, but I'll have to work harder to make up the slack.

Best case, in the next run-up I pay off the loan and sit on the ~40k LINK for the next few years.

Talk me out of it please.

What about it is a "scam"? It sounds like I can essentially be paid for storing, hosting, & sharing my collection of BluRay edition Startrek TNG.

Why are people saying it's a scam?

let me clue you in retard. The ice is melting. An entire continent filled with natural resources and under mutual governance is about to open its treasure chest. Now what if i told you a large defence contractor recently split up, with the new formed company focussing soley on the antarctic, having both the scientific and technical expertise. Right now it trades for a few US dollars per share.

Because you're a fucking asshole, i'm not naming it. have fun with your eca.
