What? They're gonna get arrested for discussing public knowledge? How is this any different than Mad Money or any other finance bullshit on TV?

And one other thing: a stock that is over-shorted like GME can have it's valuation influenced by the float. That isn't illegal. If you know it has to go up because of covering calls, the intrinsic value of shares will increase.
