Rich people are kill themselves in this day and age because they find life in easy mode and have everything now in a silver platter. Before, the nobles used to be the ones directing wars and going to wars. Now they just sit in board meetings, collude against the common man and just wait for government bailouts and other money from rich people to "invest" in their companies and just watch their net worths increase.
