Most people cant even afford the government suppressed price of goods where they crack down on stores that sell above it, currently 48 million bolivars for an ounce of silver. Most people have someone outside the country wiring money in.

That checks out with the price of goods they enforce. I found out is still the current price control guide. Its funny looking back on the charts that silver was like 900 bolivars in 2018 and now its 30 million.

Its also interesting looking at the government twitter and how half of it is just posting pictures of "full" grocery store shelves and enforcing price controls.
