The stock market is up because other equities are not retuning any profit. When bonds return a safe 2% instead of 0.02% again then there is less incentive to put it into the market.

It is "bad" because it means banks will have another outlet for their money and the Fed may think about tightening.

I mean I am as clueless as anyone, but I would look at the treasury yields closely and bail if they continue to shoot up.
