Actually that pic was from a pure maths module (M208), which isn't part of Computing unless you specifically choose "Computing and Mathematics" (Q67). I posted it as an example since you were considering a maths degree.
The normal Computing degree (Q62) is less maths-heavy- here's an example from the algorithms module M269.

5 years total for me. It's theoretically possible to do it in 3, but it'd be very difficult if you work full time.

Programming is absolutely ideal for working remotely, but it's fair to say that you do need a fairly serious interest in the subject to study it in enough detail to be employable. You could take a free course like harvard's CS50 if you want to give it a try without committing to a degree.
