I'm holding GVT. I think it can add a ton of value to the market based on their original idea. Yes, the asset management from the competition turned up extremely good results, and the repeatability of those results is unlikely. But if even a single one of those asset managers can generate 10% over the term of their management period, then that's a consistent return over a long term period of time.

What's more is that unlike traditional asset management, where your funds are tied up for a period of time, you can trade your asset management tokens amongst each other, which are redeemable for GVT at the end of the trading period. That means that people will be able to speculate on the performance of the asset manager tokens as well, basically creating a new speculating product in the market. Whether or not they can attract top talent into the platform depends on what kind of performance fees the asset managers receive, but I believe it will be a percentage of the profits realized.

Even more, they are launching a new project to attempt to introduce a brokerage dealer in their platform so that users can purchase crypto at arbitrage pricing by proxy through GVT platform. This implies there will be fiat pairing but I've heard nothing about that yet.

On top of every thing they have many partnerships with a number of different brokerage firms in multiple asset management classes. GVT will serve as the link between these brokerages and the crypto markets. In theory this raises the amount of capital entering the crypto markets while granting external brokerages to crypto financing.

I honestly have no idea why people don't see the potential in this. Alpha launches on April 1, I expected way more growth than what I've seen. But w/e, sticking to my plan. I will be reinvesting with alpha release to try out their services.
