Look at the weekly chart for oil. It should start recovering at least a little bit (and then maybe keep dumping). Last resistance at around 73,6 for brent. Will it just ignore the bollinger bands? I doubt it

NVDA just keeps growing (their revenue was higher this Q than Intel's (which has been fluctuating in a general downward trend unlike NVDA's)) and that's what's important. In a turbulent market like this and NVDA manages to show off insane numbers (for NVDA, not compared to others).
The tech that NVDA sits on is lightyears ahead of everyone else. Their software implementation has been extensively worked on for more than a decade and they got it down to a T (unlike AMD's what the hell implementation).
Unlike everyone else, NVDA managed to create hype with their products. And what's more, their products also work. So you got hype + real performance.
Since we are going into a generally bearish month, NVDA might fall below $400 but I don't think it will stay there for long

Maybe in the US but here in Scandinavia things are a bit different. There ain't no shit quality meat to be found here. The difference between some high quality stuff sourced directly from the farms vs. what farmers deliver to the stores is absolutely minimal. Of course everyone here is a savvy know it all that only partakes in the most succulent and most expensive meat... nah, I don't even trust farmers at this point. Maybe you are buying from a good farmer that is worth supporting but I know no-one of good repute where I live.
But generally meat is considered to be relatively "pure" here so who cares?
Supporting "local economy" my ass. Ever since the inflation, small businesses have ramped up their prices like fuckin crazy. No, I ain't buying minced meat for more than 20 bucks per kg, wtf?

I guess people still have it too good. Also wage increases have been issued which placates people like nothing else. Who cares that consumer prices are +40% over a two year period? Nah man, I just got my wage increase of 4.8% (historic high) so it's all good.
I don't know. People either are really hugely benefitting from this or they gotta be living on massive loans.
Our business has increased its earnings by more than 60% just last year because we demanded higher pay from our customers. We told them that the inflation is eating up our profits and blah blah blah and the customers fell for it. It helps that our customers mostly comprise boomers that have way way too much money on their hands.
But take a guess how much of those extra 60% we have given to our employees? Mere 5% And they are fuckin happy with it... wtf
People are too fuckin proud to admit they are being fugged over so of course businesses will take full advantage of it

Wasn't it the same last time and the time before? Hike pauses only lead to prolonged and more sticky inflation, forcing additional and more aggressive hikes down the line. How these are in charge of the largest economy in the world is beyond me. This shit is quite literally just common sense 101.

this debt ceiling is a lose-lose for mumus.
you either have a technical default it will be another 2011 style -30% or they raise the debt ceiling and market sells off anyway because Yellen needs to refill her checking account (TGA) and side-effect is that liquidity gets drained out of the market. buy the rumor sell the news. media is prepping mumus already to get hooked on any possible """relief rally"""

>I thought the feds said they had inflation under control
they are on a good path if they keep on hiking to their 5.5%-6% target.
last year the bond market was ahead of fed, but somehow bond market went into retard mode beginning of this year and the 2Y yield went down to like 3.9%
now fed is ahead and bond market catched up again.
the 2Y is back to 4.6% so it's within the current 4.5%-4.75% range
what's moving the market big now are feds fund futures, because they now have a 18.1% chance of 50 bepis since yesterday's comment of Bearard
