I doubt they're trying to let BAT fade away but i think the vision has changed slightly,
people don't tip as much as they hoped i believe. If they wanted it to fade away Brendan would never mention BAT, he talked about it for a couple minutes in an interview published yesterday with the wolf of all streets. Other things they would tone down is the BAT ambassadors — shelving it would be a sign that it's over but it's growing and active. The BAT community call still happens each week too. Although it's a little boring sometimes because honestly what change happens in 1 week. Also they would probably shut Luke up on twitter about $bat which he spams constantly as if he were trying to pump his bags. I'm willing to bet many Brave employees have decent BAT stacks.
My impression is sometimes they're off the mark with execution and a few months too late sometimes to catch major hype but the keep building a solid project. Not sure why they didn't do the sdk or self serve but maybe they just don't have enough employees or other things are higher priority.

>well the wallet already happened
Still hopeful for wallet adoption, knew adoption would be slow but didn't expect development to be their slow. Hoping for something close to parity on mobile but that may never happen.

>dex
Mich slower adoption than I hoped for but then again it was delivered almost half baked. And the on ramps were shitty. Tried using one and it kept gltiching halfway through the process. Seen complains about it elsewhere on the web.

>cex
Yeah idk, they haven't said much about this. Could be big if the are still planning on doing it. Maybe increase adoption of the wallet/dex.

>CMO was a bust
Yes, it was terrible, im not sure but she probably the cause of AfricaDAO stuck in out of place on the community call. Still hopeful for a new one but maybe they'll promote internally an affirmative action hire.

>Twich ads baked into livestream
I don't see this being a problem, if anything it might make Twitch as a company less averse to BAT/Brave. I just wish Brave had some sort of instant tip notification with a messaging service. Twitch viewers get off on the streamer knowing they tipped them.

So I still have some hopium, but like I said I might be retarded.

Whether they distribute it wrapped on some network or some other network it makes little difference. BAT is not just for one chain its on ethereum, BSC, solana, I think some others too. More networks is better, it being spread out increases adoption. Hopefully they eventually roll out themis v2 and make rewards go directly on chain.

Yes it is a browser coin. There isn't necessarily built in sell pressure but there is buy pressure Discounts on trading fees on the dex aggregator in wallet. And what do you mean no incentives for hoarding?
Max supply isn't increasing, and can't increase, while adoption is increasing. And this browser comoany has 60m+ monthly users, almost 20m daily users. They also have a search engine that will be monetized with the help of BAT. The didnt buy and continue developing the search engine just for fun. What I see is millions of $ of buy pressure per year from Brave which gets distributed to users and huge growth potential in Brave.
as a company and their userbase. We have seen what the masses can do with Doge etc. Most people have bought into the meme and "hodl". I haven't seen anything showing me Brave isn't committed to growing BAT usecases and adoption, maybe if they weren't I would get nervous but until then I see huge potential.

BAT.
10m users signed up for Brave rewards
Over 60 m monthly Brave users
Brave has a search engine with hundreds of millions of queries per month with no ads currently. This will be monetized and some of it will go through BAT.
Brave has over 200 employees and is committed to growing the BAT ecosystem. IMO it's a solid pick and even during the bear market Brave will still continue to buy hundreds of thousands of $ worth of BAT off the open market each month to distribute for rewards.

Idk Brave isn't necessarily anti-ad. They're anti tracking. If it's baked into the video is it tracking? Is it not privacy preserving? I don't see it exactly going against their ethos, but I could be wrong.
