and America certainly hasnt helped the matter, but oh well, such is life

catholic church and various lutheran churches in europe are starting to work together more and cross-church dialogs, but the nature of protestantism is that each country has their own church, there is no worldwide lutheran church like there is for catholicism.....

just give it time (centuries), worst case scenario we (humanity) may end up joining up more once a significant external threat to the world comes along, and in the end the teachings and lessons are more important than the label we use to identify ourselves anyways
