The only way to pay back student loans is to either 1) be poor until they're all paid back, or 2) somehow come into a whole lot of money all at once, and use it to pay back the loans.

You should be able to pay back a loan at an average to above-average American salary. It's pretty criminal what they've done and boomers are still in denial about it. Next generation will foot the bill as usual and if you think the current civil rest is bad, you're in for some real shit in the coming 20-30 years.
