I think the selling pressure begins to diminish as unsuccessful traders begin to capitulate and become "buy and hodl" 'ers instead of trying to trade. Because when you think about it, in a bear market when you make a bad trade and then the price goes lower it's like a second chance plus a discount at that. However, in a bull market you make a bad trade and then price goes up so you feel extra unfortunate so you decide to stop timing the market and just buy and hodl, thereby diminishing sell pressure and allowing for prices to go up even more. Is this right or am I missing something?
