The questions and observations seen on 4chan (https://boards.4channel.org/biz/thread/19841264)) are a good deep dive into the ecosystem and the team is excited to see individuals look at what we do with a high level of scrutiny. While the analysis looked closely at the ecosystem and raised some great questions, we think there’s a lot of misinformation to dissect. Here goes:

The reason why you see some that date back to 2016/17 relates to the core product being offered with these “car equity lines of credit” - that is, borrowers get a loan that’s secured by their vehicle. A prime use-case is using this financial instrument as a revolving line of credit. Think about it - you can borrow against the value in your vehicle, while still driving it. So there are some borrowers that pay down the loan to the last bit, and then reopen a new loan, reusing the same lien. This reduces processing costs and the time necessary to re-open this digital lien against the borrower’s vehicle.

Are you Americans for real? I wrote two applications after graduation, had a face to face conversation with each department manager and was hired on the spot for the second company. I hole-hardedly agree, but allow me to play doubles advocate here for a moment. For all intensive purposes I think you are wrong. In an age where false morals are a diamond dozen, true virtues are a blessing in the skies. We often put our false morality on a petal stool like a bunch of pre-Madonnas, but you all seem to be taking something very valuable for granite.
