>lots of new guys in who fresh from uni that dont know shit about ACTUAL machine operations
>boss values hard work and knowledge, though she doesnt really understand the tech
>overtime and on-call duty in the afternoons due to critical systems we only can maintain at night, get lots of $$$
>young co-workers are chill, we play dnd in the weekends
>started with a 35k salary when i started 3 years ago
>up to 70k + overtime now
>boss dont want us in the office untill this thing blows over
>wfh now, free to flex around with my schedule
>got a new dog at the start of lockdowns, he is awesome, play with him throughout the day
>since I dont have to commute I can wake up early in the mornings and work on my own stuff
