Chainlink’s Evolution and Quantum Computing

1. Decentralized Computation Networks: As Chainlink evolves, it might extend its functionalities beyond being merely an oracle for external data to become a platform for decentralized computation. This could include leveraging not just classical computing resources but potentially quantum computing resources as well. The idea is that Chainlink could facilitate access to quantum computers in a way that is verifiable and secure, using its protocols like DECO (which enhances privacy and data integrity) and CCIP (Cross-Chain Interoperability Protocol).

2. Quantum Computing as a Service: If quantum computers reach a stage where they can be accessed as a service (much like cloud computing today), Chainlink could integrate these services into its network. This would allow developers and companies to use quantum computing power to perform specific tasks, such as running Shor’s Algorithm, through a decentralized and secure network.

3. Scalability and Accessibility: With the assumption that internet bandwidth is not a limiting factor given a long enough time frame, the integration of quantum computing resources into Chainlink or similar networks could be scaled to a global level. This would democratize access to quantum computing, allowing a wide range of participants to perform complex computations that are currently out of reach for most entities.

So many mid 6 figure fags here that I feel comfy posting as a newfag mid 6 figure peasant.

I've never really felt like I belong to the "linkmarines" with my meager ~20k link stack. I only bought link because I wanted to be rich and the memes were hilarious. I bought a lot of stupid shit in 2017 and 18.

I know this is a lot of money but I honestly feel insecure about it. I get confused when seeing 5 figure portfolios posted here, it seems like people are joking around and acting retarded. But then again in 2017 I had 5 figures in crypto.

I've even seen people post 4 figure portfolios but if those are real it just shows a lack of ambition and risk tolerance. Unironically ngmi.

You’re still over my head, sorry. I understand what you’re saying in a vacuum but what specifically is someone like Swift doing in context? What is being moved from test to production environment? I thought LINK was essentially validating data in smart contracts using nodes (dudes checking data and reporting back). Swift apparently has their own secret node network or whatever. To be truly decentralized they have to move their network to Chainlink. So are you just saying they will switch to Chainlink nodes to get data for smartcontracts? Why does it seem like there’s way more complexity to it or that Swift is building some elaborate system?

Torn between trying to time the top and risking selling too early and seeing LINK take off without me, or simply holding for a decade until it hits a crazy number. The reality is your money is probably better off in LINK than in an index fund or real estate. Problem is I’d have to stay lower middle class for many years and I’m not getting any younger. Will also suck to see LINK pump to hundreds of dollars per token only to hold it as it crashes into a bear market like the fags who got burned holding btc in 2018. Very tough decisions ahead.

I'll be honest: the major reason I'm invested in LINK is because I think it's the /biz/ coin and I trust the hivemind here to be right in the end, given a long enough timeline. I'm not going to claim I even understand what I bough 100%. On any given day the board is of course filled with nonsense, but on a longer scale, 4chin is always right.

>Team holds 2/3 supply
used to bootstrap the network
very hard to make a decentralized system actually decentralized from day 0, but it can sustain itself as a decentralized system later
chainlink hands out their supply to promising projects
>middle ware
that's literally the point
smart contracts need something that can on-board real world data
>centralized
no it isn't you dolt
only in its initial stages and you can see we are exiting this area of development soon
>Not private Transaction
fair enough but who the hell actually gives a shit about privacy in crypto other than idealists and maxis
>Expensive as fuck to use
are you sure the likes of SWIFT will give a shit if their gas gost is 100 USD or 1000 usd? besies systems always start out expensive and then go down in price (first mobile phones were too expensive for poorfags etc)
>single point of failure
yeah i dont see it
>over hyped
you had X years
also this is called narrative investing (see tesla)
DON'T UNDERESTIMATE THE POWER OF MEMES 1000 EOY
