People in general do not care. They pretend to care when you tell them of all the stuff going on in the world, but as soon as you try to migrate people over to a new and secure platform they refuse unless you say something like "I won't sell you any drugs if you don't switch over" or something like that, but that's because you have leverage and they want something else, not because they want privacy. And since I don't sell anything people are addicted to I have no leverage.
Some people care which is why privacy tech is getting improved every year with better E2EE communication, privacy coins, more convenience, but it will never hit mass adoption until people "have to" use it because everyone else is, because that's the only thing 99% of people care about. Where are the people. A for profit company has profits they can use to market their solution which means more users which means that's where people go and stay.
Also Chrome has majority browser marketshare while toying with the idea of forcing Manifest v3 to hurt adblockers. Yet people don't care. Despite Chrome offering almost no advantage over other browsers people still use it or other same engine based browsers willingly and giving away control to the future of the internet to an ad company that is actively hurting it.

They make no money and are still on the hook for the arena bills. Will go to zero, "creditors" with deposits there will be rugged.
Exact same business mistakes. Exact same team. You have to ask yourself when it becomes intentional. With business, *always* assume a bad action was a good action for the company with malicious intent towards someone else. Will save you from trusting the wrong people every single time.
