Yeah. Trust me, getting in debt sounds like a big dick in the ass right now, but if you get a good education in a semi-viable field, you will have a major advantage in the job market later on. Just choose what you're going to study wisely.

I know someone who lived in a violent, fucked-up, dysfunctional shithole of a family. He got in fucktons of debt to avoid his toxic family and spare himself the anguish of living there any longer.

Today, years later, he's still paying off the debt but it's a tiny bullshit payment every month (less than a car payment) and he will eventually get it forgiven because he's been paying interest on the loan for a relatively long time now.

If your living situation is endangering your mental health or physical safety, get the fuck out however you can and do it now while you still can.

How would you suggest that I go about forming my own dynamics firm?
I was panning:
> BS ~ computer engineering
> MS or PhD in EE or ME
> work 5 - 10 years in the field, hopefully for an R&D/prototype division at some point
I also plan on doing small projects for people while im going to school. maybe doing some data analysis for a pharmaceutical company rep that I know, or being a part of a robotics development firm since I know their head engineer.
I thought about eventually getting a degree in business, but idk if that would even be useful after 5-10 years of experience.
Any other suggestions?
