You are wrong, because you are weak.
I am stronger, I am wiser, I am smarter, I am wealthier, I am healthier.
Drink water, work out, eat meat, get enough sleep, take a walk outside.

It is good you are starting with covered calls. You really don't need any other options honestly. Just pick good solid stocks, sell above your cost basis, and don't get greedy. Its ok to sell a call for only a few dollars, it adds up over time, more than dividends.
You could get something like HPQ and sell a far out of the money $10 call each week, that would earn you 20% on your cost basis in just one year, plus you get dividends and any growth.

Have 20k I can risk in credit spreads and I have a few questions for you anons familiar with this stuff.

1. How far out (date wise) should my credit spreads be?

2. Which is generally better in credit spreads, calls or puts?

3. What percantage should I generally aim for in relation to the credit I receive?
Eg. For every $100 collateral I should do a credit spread that would yield AT LEAST A 10% return if it expires worthless. Perhaps higher percentage when the spread is wider eg $500 collateral per spread vs $100 collateral per spread.

4. How far out should my credit spreads be? 1 week, 2 weeks, etc.?
