cool man; I mean don't sweat it. I'm in no rush to use a wallet until "quarantine" is over. I'm so busy rn even w/o corona I'd never get out to use my goldbacks

>>30251375
Oh damn; yeah I heard about the over 1500 no tax but I didn't know it was CA specific
Yeah well he's a ways away, but yeah maybe I'll just order him one

>>30251407
>>30251841
anon you're calculating the value and premium in gold, but goldbacks don't trade for that cost. they have an inherent premium. for example, 1GB has $1.7 worth of gold in it
BUT if you were to use it as payment for something, 1GB can purchase ~$3.06 worth of goods right now. the actual value of a goldback is calculated by: $1.1 + (spot / 1000) * 1.155
you paid $350 for a set of 91GB; 1GB is worth ~$3.06 right now, so you bought ~$278.46 worth of goldbacks for $350; a 25.7% premium

oh me?
I said
>yeah I think the best way is to have a business where you accept them. We need people who like the idea but don't know math very well to reach a critical point. Once we reach that critical point it doesn't matter what the price of a GB is; 1GB = 1/1000ozt gold. A bushel of apples will cost 2GB, a fancy dinner at a restaurant will be 10GB and so on.

yeah.. I mean I don't think anyone would bet against gold hitting 2000 soonish

also
1GB = 0.001155 + 1.1/spot ounces

A good portion of my reason for purchase was the novelty of the NH ones; I'm hoping for a low serial number. And I could justify getting a few extras as gifts

They seem to be decently widely accepted in the states they're printed for; the Utah ones were quite popular in NH, thus they made the NH series it seems

It is a little annoying that you realistically need a special wallet but I think custom ones on like Etsy could become very popular and commonplace (that can hold GBs and $ and maybe something else like a 1g valcambi

its about the desalination that destroys ocean currents. will actually lead to europe freezing over.
just realized this but that'll lead to all the nigs leaving for warmer weather and europe will once again be home for whities. thats why (((they))) don't want global warming
