I need to make money fast. I had success on ebay in the past. I have a small collection of books and textbooks I want to get rid of. The problem is they're selling for $1-$5 on ebay. This is total bullshit. Am I being scammed? I know they're worth more than this. I bought these books for way more. I just listed my old calculus textbook Calculus: Early Transcendentals 6th Ed. James Stewart. When I was at CC, it was selling for over $200. Now, they're selling it for $5 on ebay. Total horseshit. This book contains three semesters of calculus!!! On Amazon, James Stewart is selling it new for $296.04. So tell me /biz/, what's going on? Whats the online textbook/book economy like? Is it just run by bots or people manipulating prices? Should I wait to sell my textbook when fall semester rolls around in late August? Fuck. My textbook is worth more than $5 just in memories. I just read a review about a guy who purchased a so called "textbook" and it was just a pdf file on a cd-rom. The seller had over 99% positive reviews and thousands of sales and the ad had no mention of a cd. Please help.
