why is bitcoin not correlated with tech companies? because it isn't.

go do the math and take the nasdaq and bitcoin for the last X years and get the correlation coefficient and then get back to me.

your thought process is clearly just:
>bitcoin is techy tech that i don't understand
>tech companies have techy tech that i barely understand
>therefore when one techy tech goes down the other must go down too

bitcoin behaves completely differently than the nasdaq and has a very weak correlation coefficient with it in either direction.
