Now that /biz/ is dead, it's time for a serious discussion of the next moon mission. No, it isn't Chainlink. Hedera Hashgraph is where the money is going. The Hashgraph algorithm is clearly defined and easy to understand, with formal math proofs of security and a maximum of 10 seconds latency for definitive consensus (links below); it is objectively better than buttcoin.

>CLOSED SOURCE, PATENTED
The source code will be released for open review AFTER launch. This, and the patent, is to prevent any forks or copycats whatsoever, protecting newcomers from scams and providing security for institutional investors. Forking in GNU/Linux/BSD is encouraged, but forking a cryptocurrency creates market confusion and uncertainty which pushes away mainstream adoption. Freetards will fud it, but this strategy is undeniably bullish.

>CENTRALIZED GOVERNANCE
Hashgraph is aiming at institutional adoption, so a council of 39 well known companies (not yet announced) will have a vote on the direction of the platform. Their signatures are also required for the release of hbars from the Hedera treasury wallet. Each member of the council aside from Hedera serves a limited term. Arguably more decentralized than a core group of developers.

Serious question. Im still kinda undecided whether to choose finance/accounting or chemical engineering.
On one hand i would like finance/accounting more cause it suits me a little bit better, but it seems that its gonna have a pretty shitty job market in 5-10 years and getting a job would be hard.
Chemical engineering on the other hand is booming and will boom in the future. I like it, but not as much as graphs and paperwork.

> How is it free?
"People" invest your settled funds when you're not using them, just like banks.

> It's been X days, why isn't my account verified yet?
Not being approved in 3 days seems to be the new norm. Nevertheless, call/email their support if you've been waiting more than that.

> When is it coming to my country?
The only "plans" are on an Australian and Chinese beta. Neither of which has gained much traction.

> I hit sell when the stock was X.XX, but it actually sold at a lower price, why?
Robinhood graphs are shit and only show you an average, not true real-time prices. To get Bid/Ask prices and important things like candlestick graphs, you should use a more robust platform.

> Where can I get better charting or bid/ask?
Real brokers, like TDAmeritrade's thinkorswim. Otherwise you should be using tradingview.com, stockcharts.com, finviz.com, or a non-pile-of-shit for your graphing in addition to Robinhood.
