yeah good point.

I would like to have $1MM before I am 45. That is my goal.

Honestly, starting a business is what I am leaning towards as the best way to make it. I am just struggling with an idea.

I am always trying to thinking: What problem can I solve? What process can I make better? What value can I add?

I think if I can figure out an "accessory" to a current invention or idea, that would be the easiest route. Like Levi Straus making jeans for the gold rush miners in the earlier days.

No...it could be way worse. Honestly, if you dont know what you are doing, a target fund is just fine. It essentially does all the rebalancing work for you.

Having said that, if you arent planning on touching the money until 2055 (presumably your retirement date), then you will have more growth potential by just investing in a total stock market index fund. As long as you stay invested and dont sell out of it when the market takes a dive.

Are front loaded and actively managed Mutual Funds slowly becoming a thing of the past?

You are retarded if you pay a front loaded fund fee...and index funds do just as well if not better than actively managed funds over the long run.

I think ETFs are going to take over and Mutual Funds will disappear. Your thoughts?
