It would be just like when fiat was actually backed by gold, which is actually a step back from what the FED wants. Still not a win for crypto but I guess that would be a step closer to mass adoption. Personally, I think people will gravitate more towards crypto because of how convenient it's going to be in the future assuming everything goes as planned. Think about it, BTC will hold a store of value similar to gold, XMR will be the true P2P currency (imo), and you'll have numerous blockchains facilitating a trustworthy society omitting the middleman. The best part about it is that the FED can't really stop it, they can only slow down the process of adoption since the main draw to crypto is decentralization. It's like trying to ban gold/silver 5.0 from society, which is impossible. They can only regulate the fuck out of it, which is only going to create more of a demand for it long-term, it won't matter anyway because at that point circulation of it will be so widely dispersed that you'd be sending your aunt XMR from the US to the UK in seconds and no one would know about it.

Let the dollar commit suicide, the best you can do is inform people about the theory of value with currency and compare an ideal free market society versus the current centralized debt fuckery we're in right now. Mention fractional banking and how the FED is privately owned and only there to profit off of the people. It's only a matter of time before people realize how royally fucked they've been since the FED was created in the 20th century.
