To me this feels like a fucking hostage negotiation where the chinese miners have all the hash rate and coins and there's just some fucking yankees screaming segwit2x and shitting everywhere. If I were a chink, I would definitely fucking "intend" to segwit and then say screw you, and buy up all the cheap bitcoins in the aftermath. That's just my $0.02 of what I would do if I had no scruples in a completely unregulated market.
