Just because something is speculative now, doesn't mean it will always be that way. Bitcoin is deflationary by nature, because there are only a certain amount ever to be mined into existence. This is the opposite of fiat currecnies which are inflationary since they are not backed by anything since 1971, and thus can be printed to infinite amounts. Eventually, hyperinflation will kick in, prices will rise exponentially because of that, and it will lead to the collapse of the US dollar. This might not happen soon, but eventually it will happen, and anyone who has his wealth only in fiat is going to get rekt. Doesn't matter which fiat, because all fiat are tied to the $ and the $ is tied to nothing since 1971.

None of the reasons you listed are good for money. The FED just prints money forever and eventually we're gonna see a collapse of the $ because of the debasement of the currency. Same thing happened with the Roman Empire. The byzantine empire lasted for so long because they used the gold standard for much longer, and shortly after they completely debased their currency, they just completely collapsed. Same thing is gonna happen to the American Empire.

Fiat is usless. If you don't realize this already since you're shilling gold, then you're actually braindead.

>Ok but how does that work? Btc gets adopted and people have to learn how this shit worlds before fomoing in?
Do boomers know how the internet works? Most people thought the internet was just a fad. If you don't realize this, you will be cleaning my toilet for a few satoshis down the line.

not to mention going back to having a monetary system that is "backed" by something opens up for the possibility that history repeats itself.

USD was backed by gold until it was temporary not backed by gold anymore in 1970. i'm still waiting for that temporary to stop...

at that time nobody transacted in gold anymore so nobody cared too much. just like in the future when the nobody would transact in bitcoin anymore so nobody would care when the "bitcoin banks" temporary removes people's ability to redeem bitcoins

I bet you don't even know the attributes of sound money.

It will be much harder for government to sell the fiat scam to post-crypto generations.

Literally because nobody is interested in 50% gains over 10 years anymore. People here risk it all to make it, which is quite understandable. Money is always in the future-technology if you are smart, no matter what year or decade we have. Many get burned in the process, but some make big bucks. But unless you give it a shot, you will never make it.

I would have killed myself if I catched up on this older, but im still on my 20's. In 10 years i'll still be young enough to enjoy my wealth, unlike index fund retirement cucks. I'll have enough BTC to not need to sell my entire position to retire (it will always be a good idea to hold some).

The point is, the 99% of waggie drones are going to miss the train since something doesn't exist for them until it's easily accessible, approved by authorities and on TV.

Boomers will be forced to sell their bonds and other trash on their portfolio, by then even the biggest idiot will be able to get some BTC.

They may try to stop the bond collapse: The US comes up with an insane law of freezing the entire bond market by making it illegal to sell their portfolios, which will mean some people will see it comming (usually the smarter guys with a lot of money) which may create a cascade of bond dumping.
This will only illegitimate even more the government and strengthen neutral alternatives such as BTC, since they'll be taking banana-republic tier measures such as these.

There's basically a clusterfuck ahead and I have knowledge on crypto which is literally decades ahead of the pack, this can only translate in being rich.
