If the squeeze happens before October 2nd then I can rollover back into a retirement plan and not pay any taxes at all. I spent the better part of an hour talking with someone yesterday from TD and he said “corporate actions told me not to beat around the bush and the direct answer is that this was a forward split”… “I’ve seen lots of stock splits but this is the first time since I’ve been here anything like this has happened.”… “it seems really strange that the stock split would be labeled as a dividend in the filing but done as a normal split.”
When I call your company and your rep is telling me that HE thinks it’s shady and he’s never seen it before, that’s when I know it’s time to GTFO. Thanks Representative Anthony from TD 5 stars bud.
