it's literally just a scheme to buy more TQQQ/QLD/MSFT/BRKB/etc.

Do you have any names that do well early-cycle? I don't want more consumer staples or live sports. Though bowling could do well if it somehow gets some excitement in the betting markets.

I don't! But I've long been waiting for an opportunity to buy the financials, since they're supposed to outpreform early cycle.

I have a tiny bit of exposure through Berkshire... but I wouldn't mind grabbing some BAC myself, if you could give me a good reason. As it stands, I don't expect them to be doing spectacularly well, and I don't expect the FOMC this week to help.

I was one of them.
I stand by it:
This rally is not self sustaining.
I never once said that today was going to be bloody. Instead I pointed out the very grim reality that after rallies like this, you have declines for a while.
So yes, I'm standing by that. I never once said when the drop back off would happen. BUt I relayed along that even financial and economic experts are calling this a fools rally.
Make what you can when you can. Keep your option to exit the market when you stop posting gains open. And don't expect a continuous increase upwards.

Simplest way of explaining it is that the underlying instability still exists within the system. All the bill does is open revenue. The overall valuation of the company then becomes slightly different as a measure of how leveraged with federal stimulus money they are.

Someone made a fair point that stocks will still slide even after injecting liquidity into the market for the individual companies. It props them up but a lack of product moving and the continuing debt crisis with a problem in our own forex markets means this just makes the decline more gentle by comparison. So that instead of 3000 point dips daily you get maybe 1500 dips and the likes.

Nope
The market KNOWS the numbers will be terrible. Now we're pumping on hopium for the deal package. The hopium is more important than numbers that may even be better than expected at this point.

I bet they can cook the books somehow, I know they're trying.

I expect something very similar to pic related
