The problem with normies is that they only put their money in what has social proof. What Mainstream media, family, friends think is a good investment is what they will invest in. It's that simple, It's not about logic or numbers, their thought process is purely social and nothing more.

Case in point: You could of invested into a college degree 4 years ago and have $50,000 in debt today to show for it. Or you could of invested that $50,000 into bitcoin four years ago, and have over $4 Million in profit. Guess which choice mainstream media will mock?

Daily, monthly and even yearly price fluctuations of bitcoin DOES NOT MATTER.

In the end, bitcoin's low price rises over time. Winning in crypto is as simple as buying Bitcoin and leaving it. You don't need to make it any more complicated than that, the mathematics work itself out.

You have no EOS?

Here comes the EOS redpill:

1. Will be faster than ETH will ever be (millions of tx/s)
2. Weiss ratings: EOS is *only* crypto to tie, and later SURPASS ETH.
3. $1B capital injection program for EOS projects.
4. ONE BILLION DOLLAR CAPITAL INJECTION PROGRAM FOR EOS PROJECTS.
5. No transaction fees.
6. Not vaporware. The testnet for devs has been out for months. Mainnet launches in June.
7. Can host Facebook on EOS.
8. EOS has partnered with big VC firms who will pick winning projects to fund.
9. Google co-founder Eric Schmidt has partnered with EOS through his VC firm TomorrowVentures. He provided a quote for an EOS press release.
10. GOOGLE CO-FOUNDER ERIC SCHMIDT IS PARTNERED WITH EOS.
11. Most VC funded EOS projects won’t do ICOs, they will airdrop to EOS token holders. Think of owning EOS as owning NASDAQ and receiving free stock in everything listed on it.
12. EOS tokens are real estate on the EOS blockchain. They give you access to EOS network bandwidth for dapps. You can rent your EOS out to devs for passive $, in addition to $ from EOS VC project token drops.
13. Real estate is better than fuel. You don’t burn it, you hold it for incredible gains.
14. Mike Novogratz (CEO of Galaxy Digital, former Goldman Sachs partner) & early investor in ETH, announced $325 million EOS fund. He sees potential in EOS over ETH.
15. Richard Jung, former CEO of Bithumb, joined Block.one to lead the Korean community.
16. EOS is the biggest thing in crypto since Bitcoin, and will probably flip Bitcoin and Ethereum.
17. Elite developers are excited about EOS. Much more so than any other platform. This includes Ethereum, Cardano, IOTA, Hashgraph, etc. EOS will crush all of them.
18. $100 - $1000 by 2018/2019

tl;dr EOS will probably brute force its way to the top 3, top 2, and eventually the number 1 spot.

*Actually* screen shot this. It’s 2018 and /biz/ is still skeptical of and ignorant to the next big thing.

Not Austin.

The problem is that Reagan bailed out America after Carter's mismanagement and that's literally the only idea anyone cares to think of using. Recently the Fed has turned to Hyman Minsky's ideas, we'll see where that goes.

I am a Republican but the reason Moody analysts downgraded us was because of the political brinksmanship with the debt ceiling.

The people who are talking about the debt to GDP ratio in America fail to see that many other large successful economies (Japan, Germany) have large ratios and that we get negative real interest rates from our t-bills. Russia had a very low debt to gdp ratio when it folded, no one thought it was credit worthy. Our ratio has even been going down and people are still whining about it.

No one has ever explained the actual mechanism by which one can default on internally held debt issued in the country's own currency either. The go to analogy is like a credit card that an individual owns except they completely miss the point that macro economics and micro economics are not the same.

In practice the American healthcare system isn't a free market anyway, more of an oligarchy. Switzerland does a better job of having real free market healthcare.
