I purchased a 5% Lugol's Solution on Amazon. I took 2 drops a day initially with a couple of kelp pills.

The normal adult human get 150-250mcg a day of iodine naturally from processed foods.

A single drop of 5% Lugol's with the kelp pill netted 3,500mcg a day of iodine.

My thyroid tingled and then burned and would engage in the 2-3 day shutdown/restart cycles that occur when overloaded with iodine.
