everything prior to 2025 is just research.
Bitcoin is succeeding because of longevity.
Ethereum is succeeding in its space because of longevity.
There are so many thing being researched. and when it's time for an upgrade with a big coin, there is ALWAYS a hardfork. Because people believe in different things.

All the research and live mainnets going on now can easily die in a few years.
The real token economics of what is going on now is that it's all TESTING. Everyone needs a different token/coin to TEST if their idea is worth it.
There is no final real ultimate solution just yet. All token economics right now is based on gambling on a hypothesis.

eventually there will be a project that clumps the best technology together and bundles everything up into one nifty protocol stack. privacy, decentralization, scalability, fair distribution,... everything.

Just keep this in mind. All token economics right now is justified because everyone is testing theory, and they have to test it in a real world of incentives.

There will ultimately be 1 currency & 1 token for governance
